Customer Service Rep
Pay Range: $25.00 - $25.47
To consistently provide quality hospitality services at SEARHC Patient Housing facilities and shuttle services and ensure that the best customer service is provided to guests of all ages. - General office duties: answer telephone, copy, fax, scan; maintain supplies; approve timecard; maintain supplies list; communicate via email.
- Communicate gaps in coverage to supervisor; report unresolved issues; notify supervisor of any time off requests.
- Assist guests/escorts: be accessible, empathic listening, use best judgement when assisting patients in and out of vehicles, with baggage or other tasks.
- Coordinate shift change communication: inform incoming staff of issues; notify supervisor when issues arise.
- Transportation (where applicable): create pick‑up appointments for the shuttle calendar, maintain schedule, fill gas tanks when needed, transport guests to ferry terminal, Alaska Airlines, hotel; maintain vehicle maintenance logs and notify supervisor.
- Patient Housing (where applicable): maintain reservation key; update cancellations, dirty/clean rooms; monitor room availability; call and reserve rooms at local hotels; check readiness; complete registration process; inform guests of amenities, services, and policies; contact security for evictions; monitor email for housing requests; clean common areas; restock kitchen supplies and notify supervisor.
- Other duties as required.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Certifications & Licenses:
Valid and current Alaska driver’s license; 21 years of age or older preferred. - Experience:
1–2 years of general office/hospitality experience or other relevant job experience. - Knowledge:
Privacy Act of 1974, customer service concepts, operating computer applications. - Skills:
Problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, attention to detail. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Position Information:
