Associate – Gaming Strategy, Planning & Analysis (SP&A)

In addition to movies and TV shows, Netflix is launching a new gaming offer that lets users download and play mobile games on any connected screen. This role is at the heart of the gaming initiative, providing strategic insight and analysis to shape the future of Netflix Gaming.
LocationLos Angeles, United States (office‑based)
Responsibilities- Prepare evaluation analyses, including model building and scenario testing, to support business decisions and negotiations.
- Develop insightful presentations that summarize key data, highlight underlying trends, and translate findings into actionable policy recommendations.
- Conduct market research and competitive trend analysis, summarizing insights for senior management audiences.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Data Science and Consumer Insights teams to create new metrics and monitor them through dashboards and reports.
- Work directly with top gaming organization leaders: fulfill their requests, translate high‑level ideas into measurable strategies, and coordinate execution across diverse stakeholders.
- Adapt to a flat organizational structure that requires motivation, discipline, and the ability to work autonomously and effectively.
- Minimum 2+ years in a highly analytical role (investment banking, management consulting, strategy, or operations in a top tier gaming or technology company).
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis that delivers actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, proven ability to convey complex analysis to senior management.
- Self‑driven with the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment.
- Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to challenge the status quo, and high personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
- Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative focus (Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field).
- MBA is a plus.
- Passion for games is a big plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (Google Suite counterparts preferred).
- Desirable skills:
Tableau, SQL, App Annie.
The salary range for this role is typically $50,000 to $380,000, encompassing total pay. Hourly compensation is stated as $21 per hour; actual offer may vary based on candidate profile and market conditions.
