Join Norstella as an FP&A Manager!

At Norstella, our mission is to facilitate the rapid delivery of life‑saving therapies to patients. Established in 2022, we bring together leading brands to help our clients navigate the complexities of the drug development life cycle. Our organizations—Citeline, Evaluate, MMIT, Panalgo, and The Dedham Group—combine their expertise to support critical strategic and commercial decision‑making.

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced finance professional to step into our FP&A Manager role. In this pivotal position, you will play an essential part as a strategic finance partner to Norstella's Commercial and G&A business units, overseeing P&Ls, reporting, and overall business performance. You'll collaborate directly with General Managers and budget owners, managing budgets, analyzing variances, and preparing key materials for monthly operating reports.

This is a remarkable opportunity to take a leadership role in the FP&A function, driving enhancements in financial modeling, planning, and reporting. Moreover, you'll be instrumental in boosting forecast accuracy and refining crucial performance metrics. In addition to your support for daily financial operations, you will contribute to long‑term strategic planning by providing clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a finance partner to G&A and Commercial, delivering comprehensive financial support and insights.
  • Collaborate with accounting and Rev Ops teams to ensure alignment between forecasted revenues and actual delivery schedules.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy through thorough vendor analysis and historical data review.
  • Manage budgets and performance directly with General Managers and budget owners, aligning financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee P&L management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and prepare executive‑ready monthly Sponsor Operating Reports.
  • Build and enhance financial models to aid in budgeting, scenario planning, and informed decision‑making.
  • Develop standardized reporting processes and key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably in a high‑growth private equity‑backed SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in developing robust financial models.
  • Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Net Suite, and Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to support cross‑functional teams and influence senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and creating scalable reporting processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data clearly.
  • Creative problem‑solving skills to proactively tackle financial challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Dental and vision benefits
  • Basic life and AD&D benefits
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Company‑paid short and long‑term disability
