The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as the financial administrator for the entire agency and is responsible for oversight of all financial systems used by CCS. The position reports to the Executive Director and serves as a member of the senior management team.
QualificationsCCS is seeking a professional with excellent financial, business, accounting and managerial skills including experience with non‑profit financial management, grant and financial compliance, and healthcare billing and regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to prepare clear and concise financial reports for presentation to the Board of Directors. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business as well as at least five years of supervisory experience is required, as well as three years non‑profit experience.
A CPA and/or MBA are preferred. Experience with Older American’s Act Programs including Title III and Tribal Title VI preferred. Background check required.
The annual salary for this position is $,000 DOE if full time. If applicant prefers part time, salary and some job duties will be adjusted accordingly based on schedule.
This position can be either full time or part time. It can be on-site at our main office in Juneau, or remote from anywhere in the United States, preferably within Alaska. Must be willing to travel minimum twice per year to Juneau for face to face training, supervision, and strategic planning.
