This position is in the Supervisory Unit (SS) at a Range 18.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)’s Fiscal Officer, you will provide financial oversight and ensure effective control of the division’s accounting functions. The position is responsible for preparing financial reports for DVR’s various components, analyzing financial information for compliance with state and federal regulations, and supervising a team of accounting technicians.

This position is part of a small team who collaboratively perform fast paced, challenging, and fulfilling work to meet the goals of the division.
Who We Are Looking For- Accounting Operations
:
Knowledge of general ledger accounting and the control/subsidiary account relationships and reconciliation techniques, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and disbursing officer's accountability. - Budget Administration
:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of budget administration and analysis; including preparing, justifying, reporting on, and executing the budget. - Financial Examination
:
Knowledge of the laws, regulations, principles, and practices that govern financial institutions; analyzing financial statements, lending or loan portfolios, client/customer files, investment portfolios, and/or management policies and operations.

:
Uses information technology in accessing, collecting, analyzing, maintaining, and disseminating data and information. - Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving
:
