Job Description

Accountant 3 (PCN 062271) – Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health. This position requires an Alaskan resident and involves managing fiduciary duties for the division’s multiple federal programs and aligning financial operations with state and federal regulations.

• Provide support and technical assistance for the division’s budget.
• Coordinate the Department of Health’s financial requirements with federal programs.
• Ensure alignment with relevant regulatory policies.
• Assist with financial reviews, reconciliation of expenditures and revenues.
• Prepare and implement corrective action plans in response to audit findings.
• Drive continuous improvement in fiduciary responsibility.
