Deputy Director for the Division of Finance
This position serves as Deputy Director for the Division of Finance and oversees multiple sections that provide statewide support through subordinate managers. Working as a partner with the Division Director, its key responsibilities include analyzing and recommending division goals and policies, identifying necessary regulatory changes, and providing short- and long-term planning, efficient resource management, and effective program delivery. Additionally, the Deputy Director will develop policy and administrative rules, advise on tax compliance issues, implement new governmental accounting standards, and produce the statewide annual comprehensive financial report.
You will coach and mentor accounting supervisors and staff accountants, set performance goals and evaluate team performance.
