The Department of Family & Community Services is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist 3 in Juneau. This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify.
This position will be part of a team who is collectively focused on supporting the department’s purchasing needs, including provision of customer service and making procurement recommendations to division staff. The position will conduct mid to complex level commodities purchases and formal procurements, alternate/emergency procurements, and intergovernmental agreements in accordance with the applicable procurement statutes, regulations, and policies and procedures. This position is the only Procurement Specialist 3 supporting the Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS).

The Working Environment You Can ExpectThe DFCS Procurement office is located on the fifth floor of the Court Plaza Building in downtown Juneau and is within walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores.
