Procurement Specialist 2 – Division of Administrative Services
Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Division of Administrative Services, General Government bargaining unit, range 16. This position is open to Alaska residents only.
What You Will Be DoingAs the new Procurement Specialist 2, you will assist with procurement activities in the Department and collaborate closely with the Procurement Specialist 3. Key responsibilities include procuring goods and services, developing specifications, establishing evaluation criteria, overseeing evaluation committees, managing both small and large procurements in compliance with laws and regulations, and assisting the property officer with state and federal accountable property.

Security & Clearance RequirementsMust pass a federal background check, provide a Defense Biometrics Identification System card, maintain security clearance, and possibly obtain a Common Access Card. A valid Alaska driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required for private vehicle use.
Required Documents- Performance evaluations or professional letters of recommendation.
- Two professional references with titles and current and former supervisors.
- Official college transcripts if applicable.
