What You Will Be Doing The Environmental Program Specialist 3 (Tanks & Spill Response Specialist) supports the Alaska Army National Guard (AKARNG) by leading environmental compliance and conservation programs, with a focus on water resources, tanks, and spill response. The position serves as a subject matter expert responsible for planning, designing, documenting, and managing environmental projects and contracts.

Working within the Environmental Section and coordinating with the DMVA Facilities Management Office (FMO) and AKARNG operations, the role ensures regulatory compliance, effective project management, and well-organized environmental records. This position is well suited for an environmental professional interested in resource management, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship in a mission-focused setting.
