, you’ll help clients build stability, independence, and meaningful lives through direct therapy, crisis response, and integrated care coordination.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Support clients with daily living and psychosocial skill-building
- Offer crisis response services and participate in an on-call rotation, as needed
- Collaborate with medical, legal, and housing partners to support client goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
- Ability to practice in Alaska, or the ability to obtain before employment begins
- Active licensure or ability to obtain within 5 years
- Valid driver’s license & CPR/AED certification (we’ll help with the CPR certification if needed)

This is a full-time, permanent, on site position. Salary placement is based on relevant work experience and education.
NHSC Loan Repayment Eligible
LCSW, MFT, and LPC candidates may be eligible for the NHSC Loan Repayment Program
, offering up to $50,000 in qualifying student loan repayment for a two-year service commitment. Awards are made by HRSA, and clinicians apply directly. Our organization is an NHSC-approved site and provides required employment verification.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving.
