What you will be doing
As a Public Health Nurse 4, you’ll lead in providing comprehensive public health services to Alaska’s rural communities, caring for individuals, families, and communities through hands-on support and systems-level initiatives. You will oversee the Public Health Nurses and the clinic operations of the Juneau and Sitka Public Health Centers.

The working environment you can expect
This position is located at the Juneau Public Health Center, 3412 Glacier Highway. Parking is available and there are nearby nature trails for breaks.

Education and experience requirements include:
- Current Alaska RN licensure or eligibility per Alaska Nurse Practice Act
- BSN or Direct Entry MSN from an accredited program
- Combination of education/certification/experience demonstrating required competencies

If selected for the position, you will be required to provide:
- Immunization records (Tdap, MMR, Varicella, etc.)
- Hepatitis B immunity or declination
- Annual influenza vaccination or declination
- TB test within past 12 months or upon employment
- Copy of current driver’s license and Alaska RN license
