Immediate need for a talented Certified Medical Assistant
. This is a Fulltime opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Juneau, AK (Onsite).

Pay Range: $60000 - $83000/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for visits and review charts for required forms, labs, and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and medication information.
• Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, treatments, and patient transfers.
• Perform specimen collection, POCT, 12-lead EKGs, nebulizer treatments, dressing changes, and other clinical duties within competency.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, equipment, and infection-control standards.
• Accurately document patient information in EMR/EHR systems.
• Support patient flow and provide cross-coverage as needed.
• Recognize and appropriately report changes in patient condition or safety concerns.

Key Requirements and Technology

Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Current BLS Certification
• Clinical Competency completion within 3 months of hire and every 3 years
• Completion of a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program OR qualifying healthcare experience as a CA, CNA, EMT, or CHA
• Knowledge of medical terminology, basic triage, clinic procedures, and age-appropriate vital signs
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and EMR/EHR skills
