As the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) for the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development (DCCED), you will serve as the primary HR professional and strategic advisor to department leadership. You’ll lead initiatives in workforce planning, employee engagement, performance development, and change management. This role is dynamic and influential, balancing tactical HR expertise with long-term strategic direction to enhance workforce performance and readiness.

Located on the 9th floor of the State Office Building in Juneau, our modern workspace has a collaborative atmosphere and expansive views of the Gastineau Channel. The HRBP will engage with leadership, supervisors, and staff across the department, with occasional travel for training and strategic planning.
