The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Administrative Services is recruiting
for a Human Resource Technician 3 (Payroll) located in Anchorage or Juneau, Alaska!
What You Will Be Doing:Join the Department of Fish & Game’s (DFG) Human Resource (HR) team to provide technical information, support and assistance to DFG managers and employees. In this position, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in human resources, building both knowledge and practical skills in Payroll.
Under the general supervision of the Payroll Supervisor, you will direct and perform payroll duties, including resolving complex payroll, leave and compensation issues and assisting with training. Additionally, providing guidance to DFG’s Payroll Team, admin staff and employees, incorporating regulations, policies and procedures.
You’ll join a collaborative HR team that values strong partnerships, problem-solving, and service to our uniquely diverse workforce. Your work will help keep DFG running smoothly and ensure our employees are supported, informed, and paid accurately.
