What You Will Be DoingStep into a pivotal role as the Data Processing Manager I within the Department of Administration's Office of Information Technology – Telecom/Network Section. The position can be located at any of our OIT locations in Juneau, Anchorage, or Fairbanks, each boasting a different flavor of Alaska Life with local restaurants, parks and trails, and coffee shops all nearby. Hybrid telework is possible when qualifying conditions are met. Daily work consists of supervisory duties related to managing staff, providing guidance, assigning and reviewing work, completing tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the enterprise network, planning, designing and implementing new services or changes to an existing service, leading or being a member of a team for enterprise initiatives or projects, providing daily customer support statewide, and ensuring state employees possess the necessary electronic capabilities to perform their day‑to‑day duties.
