POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring food preparation and quality control is completed to the highest standards of excellence.

Food Preparation: Prepares and cooks hot food products in accordance with safety guidelines. Packages, monitors and rotates prepared foods for sale. Prepares food in order to meet daily and weekly customer demands. Prepares products at customer’s request. Cleans designated work area.

Customer Service: Provides professional courteous and efficient service at all times while interacting with customers in person and on the phone. The highest level of service is expected.

PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS

REQUIRED:

Performs a variety of general duties, ordering, restocking products, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and other routine functions.

Education: High School diploma or GED is required.

Experience: Must have six months of previous work experience preferably in a retail environment. Must possess excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to supervise and coordinate the food preparation staff.

Licensure/Certification: Must possess an Alaska State Food Worker’s Card.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years old to work in an environment that sells tobacco products. Incumbent must provide excellent customer service with respect, courtesy and efficiency and must be able to work cooperatively with others and possess the ability to make decisions according to pre-defined guidelines.

Attendance: Regular attendance is a requirement of this position. This position could require overtime.

English Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
