What You Will Be DoingAs an Environmental Services Journey 2, you will maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe physical environment in AVTEC facilities, including dormitories, apartments, recreation areas, food service areas, training areas, classrooms, and offices. Tasks include cleaning, deodorizing, and sanitizing large living and work areas, furniture, upholstery, carpets, and hard surface flooring; maintaining inventory of cleaning materials, supplies, chemicals, and equipment; performing routine servicing of tools and equipment;
removing snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks and steps; securing buildings and grounds; and driving the school's van to transport students to and from classes as needed.
