As an Operations Supervisor, you'll be a key leader in our field operations, overseeing daily waste collection activities and ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role with a clear path to advancement—ideal for someone eager to grow into senior leadership within 1–3 years.
What You'll Do:As an Operations Supervisor, you'll play a key role in running safe, efficient daily operations:
- Lead and supervise drivers and crews in solid waste collection operations
- Oversee daily routing, staffing, and productivity; adjust in real time as needed
- Champion safety by setting goals, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance
- Perform field inspections to verify work quality and safety standards
- Handle customer concerns and drive resolution with urgency and professionalism
- Coach, develop, and manage employee performance
- Support strategic planning through short- and long-term operational goals
- Ensure compliance with environmental, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements
- Willingness to relocate for career advancement
- Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)
- Experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, or related operations
- CDL Class B (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and business systems
