Associate Assembler - 2nd shift

Job Summary

As an Associate Assembler at GE Aerospace, you will install hardware and generate barcodes and labels via computer. You will use hand tools to assemble circuit cards and top assemblies used in commercial and military navigation systems.

Perform electronic, electro‑mechanical, or mechanical assembly operations related to hardware such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Follow established procedures, work instructions, schematics, and other approved documentation.

• Execute production assembly operations ranging from repetitive to non‑repetitive tasks.
• Adhere to work instructions and approved documentation for accurate assembly.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Take ownership of all assigned tasks and ensure quality output.

• Read and comprehend written work instructions that may be technical.
• Proficient in using a personal computer to navigate online documents, drawings, and instructions.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous industry or related experience.

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 35 lbs. frequently.
• May be required to work with hazardous materials.
• High School diploma or GED.

• Experience working in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent attendance history.
• Ability to produce error‑free products.

• Willingness to work overtime as required.
