Clinic RN - Providence Imaging Center

Position Overview

Providence Imaging Center is seeking a Full‑Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing expertise and assistance in improving the efficiency and quality of services. The primary focus of this role is the breast imaging services in the Picture‑Intensive Care (PIC) program. The nurse will work with patients, referring clinicians, medical specialists, radiologists, PIC staff, and Cancer center staff to meet the needs of patients from screening mammography through diagnosis.

The nurse also assists with other PIC departments and projects. The position is 0.9 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week and is located onsite at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Apply today!

The nurse will:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.
• Advise and educate patients, clinicians, and staff on breast imaging processes and protocols.
• Assist with departmental projects and initiatives aimed at improving service efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License (obtained upon hire).
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of two years of recent clinical or educational experience.

$42.04 – $65.27 per hour. This is the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
