Registered Nurse (RN)
Pay Range: $41.66 - $58.69 M-F 8am-5pm. Sign On bonus: $25K and $10K relocation for qualified hire.
OverviewThe RN provides professional nursing care across the lifespan in accordance with organizational standards, policies, and evidence-based practice. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive, and patient‑centered services. The Ambulatory RN provides comprehensive, patient‑centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting individuals and families across the continuum of care.
In both settings, the RN collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes, safety, and a positive patient experience.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Administer medications and treatments, perform clinical procedures, and provide patient education.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams for patient coordination.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards.
- Maintain efficient clinic operations and promote quality outcomes and patient safety.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Case Management certification preferred.
- Clinical competency required within 3 months and every 3 years;
High‑risk competency required within 3 months and annually. - New Nursing Program Graduates: BLS required at time of hire.
- All additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC as applicable) must be obtained within six months of hire.
- Clinical competency assessment by SEARHC.
- High‑risk competency validation as per SEARHC standards.
- Required certifications: BLS, Clinical Competency Assessment, High Risk Competency, RN License.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Ability to work in a moderate-to-high noise clinical environment.
Employees must comply with safe work practices, report injuries and unsafe conditions, and cooperate in safety investigations.
