Primary Health Care Advanced Practice Nurse

Providence is calling for a Registered Nurse in Seward, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering daily compassionate care accessible for all—especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full‑time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Hours:

Full Time (36 hours weekly). Variable shift.

The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of resident care for a specific group of residents, supervising team members including Shahbazim. Nursing services are supervised by and directly accountable to the Director of Nursing (DNS) through licensed nurses in the homes. The Primary Care Nurse coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families, and physicians, and serves as the point of contact for elder information.

• Deliver nursing services supervised by the Director of Nursing.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long‑term care, rehabilitation center).
• Supervision/leadership experience.
