Overview
Providence is calling for a Registered Nurse at Seward Medical Center in Seward, Alaska. The role is part of a community of caregivers delivering compassionate care for low‑income and vulnerable patients.
Location & HoursLocation:
Seward Medical Center, Seward, Alaska.
Hours:
Full Time (36 Hours Weekly). Variable Shift.
Hiring bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance for eligible full‑time external hires.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Primary Care Nurse responsible for resident care of a specific group of residents.
- Supervise team members, including Shahbazim, and report to the Director of Nursing.
- Coordinate referrals to clinical support team, families, and physicians.
- Act as the primary contact for elder information.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider Self‑Assessment (BLS) by the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Preferred: minimum 6 months nursing experience in a health‑care facility (acute care, long‑term care, rehabilitation). Supervision/leadership experience.
