Embark on a unique and rewarding opportunity as a Seasonal Restaurant Manager where you’ll play an integral role in delivering an unmatched Alaskan adventure. As part of the innovative partnership between Holland America Line and Princess Cruises, you’ll contribute to creating extraordinary experiences in one of the world’s most breathtaking locations. With a combined fleet of ships, lodges, motor coaches, and domed rail cars, we specialize in blending comfort and adventure while advocating for the environment.
In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of service and operations are maintained across the front-of-house food and beverage operations, embodying our company’s values at every level.
- Act as a working supervisor, leading by example to motivate, guide, and support staff while completing tasks alongside your team.
- Train, coach, and supervise front-of-house food and beverage staff to ensure operational excellence and high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked food and beverage venues, ensuring that every guest experience is exceptional.
- Collaborate with management to execute daily task lists, conduct monthly inventory, and manage par levels to align with business volume and goals.
- Minimum age of 21 is required
- Associates Degree in Hotel and Restaurant management preferred or equivalent experience
- Three years’ experience in similar position
- Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Three years’ experience in similar position
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in multiple F&B outlets
- Have current or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card and TAPs card
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

- Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and written both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
- Work beyond normal business hours or on weekends may be required occasionally to support business needs, projects or operations.
