We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Cashier/Servers to join our fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. As a Cashier/Server at tAKo Alaskan Cantina, you will deliver outstanding guest experiences through attentive counter service, accurate order-taking, expert menu knowledge, and genuine Alaskan hospitality.

• Consistently follow guest service steps to ensure a legendary experience at the counter and dining areas.
• Provide professional and friendly service by accurately taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
• Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including daily specials; actively upsell and suggest pairings to enhance the dining experience.
• Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions with accuracy, including cash and card payments.
• Ensure food and beverages are presented attractively, with all necessary accompaniments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all guest service and dining areas; restock supplies as needed.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and feedback.
• Rotate between service areas as needed to support team operations.
• Share local knowledge about Alaska and nearby attractions to enrich the guest experience (where applicable).

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in serving, cashiering, customer service, or other front-of-house positions.
• Proficiency with POS systems (Toast preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Current TAPS (Training for Alcohol Professionals) certification if involved in alcohol service.
