Maintenance Mechanic IV - Day Shift

Schedule

12‑hour shifts, 3 weekends per month. 2 of the 4 weeks involve 2‑12 hour shifts, totaling 36 hours.

Repair or replace parts of hospital mechanical equipment and building components that require semi‑skilled work across various trades.

• Familiar with building maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hospital equipment systems.
• Use basic computer skills.
• Assist with snow removal and other duties as required.
• Effectively carry out repairs to plumbing, communication, HVAC, and electrical systems throughout the hospital.
• Accurately troubleshoot and repair various hospital equipment.
• Use the hospital’s energy management system proficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and logs as necessary.
• Perform routine power‑plant functions such as blow downs, water analysis, and minor troubleshooting and repairs.
• Respond to all emergency and STAT calls.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Commercial trades experience such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is preferred.

• Valid driver’s license.
