Keep our fleet of modern tour buses, coaches, vans, and specialty vehicles running flawlessly all summer long. As our Diesel Mechanic, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues, and ensure every vehicle is safe and ready for Alaska’s demanding roads and long daylight hours. This is a hands‑on, critical role that directly supports our ability to deliver unforgettable guest experiences across Southeast Alaska.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on diesel buses and support vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, HVAC, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Conduct DOT inspections and maintain accurate records
• Repair or replace components including turbochargers, injectors, air compressors, differentials, and wheel seals
• Perform welding and light fabrication when needed
• Manage parts inventory and work with vendors for quick‑turnaround orders
• Assist with pre‑season fleet prep and post‑season winterization
• Respond to road calls

• Current ASE certification in Medium/Heavy Truck or Transit Bus (T‑series preferred) OR OEM‑specific training (Prevost, MCI, Cummins, Detroit, Allison, etc.)
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on diesel mechanic experience (tour/coach bus experience a big plus)
• Valid Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Own professional tools preferred(specialty tools provided)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen
• Current CPR/First Aid a plus
