Protective Service Specialist 1/2/3 (Sitka or Juneau, Alaska)

The position is open to Alaska Residents.

• Investigate reports of child abuse and/or neglect.
• Prepare plans for intervention and secure child safety.
• Provide ongoing and/or in-home services to families.
• Write and submit reports to court.
• Work closely with Tribal/Community Partners and other agencies.
• Maintain case records and documentation.
• Travel as required to cover regional field office locations and support agencies.

Full-time benefits include insurance, retirement, paid leave, and twelve paid holidays per year. The first twelve months are a probationary training period with formal virtual training and on-the-job support.

Field-based position within Southeast Alaska. Work includes evenings, weekends, and occasional on-call. Travel may involve small aircraft and overnight stays.
