Case Manager

JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven and dedicated Case Manager who can help our organization thrive as we help people live their own best lives as they navigate through Juneau Therapeutic Courts and/or ReEntry (Reducing Recidivism). We're looking for someone who is a collaborative worker with a passion for helping others and a dedication to providing excellent service.
Our Case Manager should be comfortable working closely with clients which is primarily comprised of individuals served through the Juneau Therapeutic Courts and ReEntry program. They will manage their time well to provide in-person care and be able to attend multiple meetings at Lemon Creek Correctional Center, Juneau Therapeutic Courts, and others. Case Managers will need to be comfortable in assisting with urine drug screens, if necessary.
Our Case Manager will be proficient in setting professional boundaries while still being empathetic and friendly toward clients, and will demonstrate unconditional positive regard for people in all different walks of life and will meet and support clients where they are.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- One year of experience providing direct service in the field of human services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Personal experience with addiction and recovery, including experience with the court system.
- Providing direct services with persons experiencing severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver's license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving JAMHI believes that diversity of thought, lived experience, culture, identity, and perspective strengthens our workplace and drives better outcomes.
