ATTENTION ALL ALASKA RESIDENTS!As an Equipment Operator Journey 2 at Fairbanks International Airport, you will operate equipment to keep runways, taxiways, roads, and facilities safe and operational. From snow and ice removal to maintenance, and emergency response, this role is essential to supporting daily airport operations in Interior Alaska.
What you will be doing:In this role, you will operate and maintain heavy equipment to keep airport runways, taxiways, and roads clear and safe, especially during winter conditions. You’ll perform pavement and facility maintenance, support construction projects, and respond to emergencies to ensure Fairbanks International Airport remains fully operational and compliant with FAA standards.
