• Transport supplies and materials essential for maintenance and efficiently load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as clearing ditches and culverts, trimming brush, and supporting bridge and structure repairs.
• Erect and maintain signs and markers to ensure clear navigation throughout the airport grounds.
• Pick up litter and debris on roads, ramps, and airfields to maintain a clean environment.
• Shovel snow from sidewalks, runway edge lights, and aircraft operating areas during adverse weather to ensure safe passage for pedestrians and aircraft.
• Carry out groundskeeping duties as needed and assist in maintaining air taxi and related service shacks.
• Stand ready to assist the emergency crew in times of emergency, providing support and expertise to mitigate potential disasters.

This position is located at Anchorage International Airport, where you will maintain and improve critical transportation infrastructure under a range of weather conditions and operational demands.

• Must have a current valid driver’s license (Alaska Statute Title 28, Motor Vehicles, Section 28.15.011).
• Incumbent must successfully undergo and pass both a fingerprint‑based criminal history record check and a TSA security threat assessment to obtain and maintain an airport .
• This position is also eligible for overtime and shift differential.
