The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Division of International Airport Systems Office is looking for an Airport Leasing Specialist 3 in Fairbanks to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

What You Will Be Doing

As an Airport Leasing Specialist 3 at Fairbanks International Airport, you will be responsible for adhering to the Airline Operating Agreement and other relevant statutes. You will oversee an inventory of available land and terminal spaces, ensuring their availability and status are communicated effectively to the public and various agencies. Your role includes researching, negotiating, and drafting contractual agreements in compliance with State statutes, Alaska Administrative Code, Airport policies, and FAA regulations.

You will process and review applications and contract amendments, prepare recommendations for the Lease Application and Review Committee (LARC), and manage contract administration tasks such as issuing notifications of compliance, renewals, cancellations, and addressing deficiencies. Additionally, you will act as the ACDBE Liaison, ensuring program compliance through outreach, education, and monitoring. Your expertise will support the airport’s strategic goals, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism in all leasing activities.
