Expeditor – O&M North Slope Construction
The Expeditor is responsible for delivering project materials to jobsites and transporting employees, supplies, and documentation throughout the field. This position may also coordinate purchases, supplier contacts, and shipment of materials to ensure prompt delivery of materials to project locations.
Essential Duties- Contact suppliers, track shipments, and resolve delays or changes.
- Complete and monitor purchase orders.
- Use Oracle procurement module to complete procurement and reporting tasks.
- Sort, file, and deliver paperwork and supplies to other departments including mail, payroll, and other project documentation and materials.
- Operate forklifts, flatbed trucks, and pickups to secure and deliver loads of various sizes to jobsites.
- Transport employees as needed.
- Provide care and custody of stored materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
- Support AES zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- A valid (U.S. issued) driver’s license.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- The ability to work 80.5–84 hours a week on a 2×2, 3×3, or 4×2 rotation.
- A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as an expeditor.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in materials handling and transportation.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office programs Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proficient experience with purchasing software programs Oracle, Passport, and SAP.
- Previous experience operating forklifts, flatbed trucks, and all other pick‑up trucks.
