Alaska Railroad is seeking a Conductor to join the train crew. The role covers operating track switches and derails, observing track conditions, and connecting/disconnecting air hoses and electrical connections. Training leads to advancement to Conductor and then Locomotive Engineer, with most positions seasonal and seniority-based.
Assignments may be in freight, passenger trains, or rail yards, with multiple terminals in Alaska. Training begins in October 2026; home terminal not guaranteed.
