The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Southcoast Region Maintenance & Operations in Juneau is looking for an Equipment Operator Journey 1/2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

Equipment Operator Journey 1: $28.54 / hourly - OT Eligible

Equipment Operator Journey 2: $30.40 / hourly - OT Eligible

What you will be doing:

Equipment Operator
- Journey 1 The incumbent will perform equipment operations commensurate with a journey-level operator. The main focus of this position will be to utilize various types of light duty equipment to perform maintenance activities in support of State of Alaska mission and maintenance of infrastructure. Use of heavy-duty equipment will be in a training capacity.

Equipment Operator
- Journey 2 The incumbent will perform equipment operations commensurate with a journeyman level operator. The main focus of this position will be to utilize various types of heavy equipment to perform maintenance activities. Shift work may be required.

Who we are looking for:

  • Vehicle operation:
    Knowledge of procedures for operating motor vehicles, including cars, trucks, or watercraft.
