The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Program Management and Administration is looking for a Supply Technician 2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

Pay is based on the location of the selected applicant; salaries will be discussed at the time of the interview.

Anchorage: $24.15 / hourly (OT Eligible) Fairbanks: $24.87 / hourly (OT Eligible) Juneau: $25.36 / hourly (OT Eligible)

What you will be doing:
The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is seeking a Supply Technician 2 to support procurement and property management for the Southeast Region, including Headquarters, airports, highway maintenance, and the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS). This role manages small procurements, evaluates purchased items and shipping destinations, and ensures compliance and accuracy in supply requests. Responsibilities include initiating informal bidding, processing purchase orders, maintaining transaction logs, and following up on outstanding orders.

The Supply Technician also serves as Property Officer, overseeing property for ferry vessels, terminals, airports, and highway maintenance, and instructs staff on property control issues. Additional duties involve conducting annual inventories, updating records, arranging secure transport, and coordinating property accounting and audits to protect State assets.
