The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Southcoast Region Highways and Aviation/M&O is looking for an Equipment Operator Foreman 1 in Akutan to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

Equipment Operator Foreman 1: $38.21 / hourly (OT Eligible)

• Supervise the airport maintenance crew (6 full-time) by planning, scheduling, and directing daily operations.
• Perform and oversee maintenance activities including snow and ice control, road and airport surface repair, vegetation management, and drainage work.
• Operate and coordinate the use of heavy equipment such as plow trucks, loaders, graders, and dozers.
• Maintain records and reports of daily work, inventory, and materials using the state’s Maintenance Management System (AGILE).
• Respond to public inquiries, manage personnel matters, and coordinate with other agencies and DOT&PF departments on projects and permitting.
