Warehouse Clerk - Parts Department

Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Monday-Friday + Occasional Saturday

Construction Machinery Industrial is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for our parts department in Juneau, Alaska. This is a hands‑on warehouse position. Receiving and shipping parts, running local deliveries, forklift operation, and keeping inventory moving to support our customers across Southeast Alaska.

• Assist with shipping and receiving — unload trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute to customers and internal departments.
• Read and process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to pick, move, or ship.
• Move materials between receiving, storage, shipping, and other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill work orders and requisitions; stage parts and tools for the service department or field technician shipments.
• Prepare parcels for ground, air, and water freight shipment.
• Call customers for will‑call part pickups and assist with customer counter traffic.
• Issue credits for returned parts and cores.
• Record all materials received or distributed in the inventory system.
• Participate in monthly and annual physical inventory counts.
• Maintain required certifications: forklift, CFR 49, IATA, and DOT physical.
• Keep the warehouse safe, accessible, and organized at all times.
• Assist with facilities maintenance and special projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay is based on experience and qualifications. Starting pay at $24/hour.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time well
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Heavy equipment parts experience a plus, not required

• 8‑hour shifts
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional Saturday as needed
