Warehouse Receiving

LOCATION: Juneau, AK 99801

EMPLOYEE STATUS: Full-Time

WORK SCHEDULE: Mon – Fri 06:00 am to 2:30 pm, or until job duties are complete. May include overtime.

STARTING SALARY: $20.00 per hour

• You will assist with unloading inbound freight from trailer vans up to 53’ in length.
• You will use a forklift and/or pallet jacks to move freight.
• You will assist with receiving inbound freight against purchase orders.
• You will assist with replenishing warehouse stock.
• You will assist with pulling and/or sorting customer orders for delivery as needed.
• You will communicate any discrepancies and/or damaged merchandise to the warehouse Operations Manager.

• Experienced – You have at least one (1) years’ experience operating forklifts and warehouse distribution. Or willingness to learn.
• Educated – You possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable – You are an expert in all aspects of forklift operation, to include safety rules and guidelines. Or a willingness to learn.
• Reliable – You demonstrate being able to be relied upon in all situations. You are dependable in character, arrive for your scheduled shifts on time, and show sound judgment and exhibit consistent performance with excellent results.

• 1 – 2 years working knowledge of distribution/warehouse flow (preferred).
• Ability to work in a freeze environment at 10-degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to adjust job focus as needed to meet daily deadlines.
• Reliable transportation.
