Warehouse Worker

Warehouse Worker (Entry Level) – Thorofare, NJ, United States. This union position is an entry-level role in the company’s warehouse, performing functions such as picking, cycle counting, packaging, shipping for internal and external customers, and overseeing stock.

• 1st Shift: 7:30am – 3:40pm
• 2nd Shift: 3:30pm – 11:40pm
• 3rd Shift: 11:30pm – 7:40am

Hourly rate: $18.04. Shift differential: $1.23 for 2nd and 3rd shift.

• Load, unload, and move materials to assigned storage locations within the warehouse and production areas using material handling equipment, forklift, pallet jack, and/or WAV (on-site training provided).
• Pack, pick, and prepare orders, including proper paperwork for shipments.
• Liaise between Shipping/Receiving and other departments regarding material movement.
• Transport materials between the warehouse and assembly locations.
• Read and understand work instructions, including shipping and invoicing processes.
• Follow established work practices and procedures to ensure quality and compliance with business management procedures.
• Engage in cycle counting, maintain FIFO, monitor shop supplies, and perform general housekeeping.
• Notify management of unsafe working conditions or practices in and out of assigned work area by entering a safety opportunity card.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work.
• Preferred experience with SAP, UPS World Ship, and Fed Ex portals.
