Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage and oversee the accounting operations of our organization. This role is based in Jupiter, Florida, and requires someone with strong attention to detail who can handle a variety of financial tasks with precision and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Perform month-end closing procedures and prepare financial statements.

- Oversee payroll operations, including supervising employee time tracking and collaborating with a third-party payroll provider.

- Utilize Quick Books Desktop, Fish Bowl, and Excel to maintain accurate financial records and inventory management.

- Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining HR files.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

- Collaborate with the Financial Analyst on accounts receivable, commissions, and sales tax reporting.

- Monitor and maintain inventory records to support accurate financial reporting.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout all accounting functions.

- Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency within accounting processes.

Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar accounting role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop, Fish Bowl, and Excel.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

- Experience with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.

- Familiarity with payroll operations and collaboration with third-party providers.

- Ability to manage inventory records and ensure accurate reporting.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
