Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our construction industry team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our company.

You will be responsible for managing all accounts payable functions, including invoicing, financial planning, and forecasting. Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation of vendor statements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and contract databases. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure all invoices are accurate and approved. Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support budgeting and strategic planning processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as state and federal regulations related to accounts payable.

Prepare and present reports detailing accounts payable status and other financial data as required. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues related to accounts payable. Work closely with other departments to improve processes, enhance financial transparency, and drive company-wide financial performance.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role, preferably in the construction industry. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial planning, and forecasting. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyze large sets of data and compile detailed reports.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to high ethical standards.
