Education:
Graduate of an accredited imaging program, two (2) years college preferred.
Experience /
Qualifications:
ARRT certification, Florida radiological technologist licensure, American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Position Summary:
The radiologic technologist utilizes ionizing radiation to perform diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, tomographic and portable procedures. Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and uses this knowledge to provide quality imaging for interpretation. Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment to support workflow and department. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements, must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform CPR and patient assessment. - Threshold Requirements:
These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis, Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD Surveillance Program Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
