Test Technician

Job Title

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance. The position will perform a multitude of duties including setting up wiring/cabling for test systems inside of aircraft. Must have some previous experience in a similar role. Relevant experience must be in aerospace.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be able to read electrical schematics.
• Must have previous soldering experience.
• Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience with electronic and electrical fabrication.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
• Previous experience working with, fabricating and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.
