TECOMET is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist II to set up and operate Swiss-style CNC equipment producing precision medical and aerospace components. You will interpret blueprints and GD&T, install and adjust tooling, set machine offsets, and monitor production for accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision gauges, documenting results to quality standards, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
You'll work with in an engineering-driven, safety-focused culture, supporting continuous improvement and strict regulatory compliance while contributing to life-improving technologies.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision medical and aerospace components to specification
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T to ensure accurate machining
- Select, install, and adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters for 2nd shift production
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges; document results per quality requirements
- Troubleshoot machining issues, correct nonconformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform basic preventative maintenance, and report mechanical issues
- Follow safety, regulatory, and c
- GMP/ISO requirements in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet schedule and yield targets
