• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• BSN preferred.

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.
• BCEN preferred

• Knowledge and familiarity with health care delivery systems, nursing process, and concepts of case coordination.
• Knowledge of personal computers, hospital information systems, and patient care applications.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize the principles of adult learning.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to participate on and/or lead teams effectively.
• Ability to develop solutions to problems, and to lead staff through the change process.
• Ability to articulate ideas and knowledge both verbally and in writing, in a concise manner.

The Assistant Clinical Manager coordinates the operations of the patient care area for the shift and manages the patient flow. The Assistant Clinical Manager applies nursing process and theories, as well as principles of psycho-social and physical sciences, in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care utilizing evidence based practices. The Assistant Clinical Manager practices autonomously within professional nursing standards, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the ANA Bill of Rights.
