Instrumentation Technician
Overview:
Instrumentation technician touch labor to support building and maintenance of instrumentation systems to provide measurement data required by the Engineering Department. Apply instructions prepared by technicians in the form of travelers, assist in the preparation, installation, check-out and operation of instrumentation systems, follow planned maintenance/calibration, read and interpret electrical wiring schematics, harness build and on aircraft integration, wire terminations, sensor installation and prep and standard operating procedures for all instrumentation and control equipment in order to maintain accuracy of data and ensure its validity, and operate DAS and other recording equipment.
Need technician (touch labor) resources with instrumentation skillset. May require ability to travel to remote domestic locations for extended periods of time to support offsite program requirements. Travel to multiple domestic locations is highly likely. Current estimate is between 5-10 trips with an estimated length of 1-3 weeks per trip. Locations include but not limited to Stratford, CT, Bridgeport, CT, Owego, NY, Pax River, MD.
