Senior AWS Cloud & Agentic AI Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & Agentic AI Engineer in Jupiter, FL.

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & Agentic AI Engineer to design and build scalable, cloud-native and AI-driven platforms on AWS. This role focuses on developing APIs, MCP servers, and end-to-end agentic workflows using AWS Bedrock Agent Core, with deep integrations across AWS Connect and core AWS services. You will work closely with multiple teams in a complex enterprise environment to deliver secure, production-ready solutions.

Duties Include:

* Build and operate scalable APIs using AWS Lambda, ECS, and EKS

* Design and implement MCP Servers and end-to-end solutions using AWS Bedrock Agent Core (memory, observability, gateway, identity)

* Develop and integrate agentic workflows with AWS Bedrock Agent Core

* Integrate AWS Connect with AI-driven and agentic workflows

* Build and manage infrastructure using AWS Cloud Formation and AWS CDK

* Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions

* Practice and promote spec-driven development, leveraging AI-assisted tools such as Windsurf and Spec It to accelerate design, implementation, and validation

* Collaborate with application, data, security, and platform teams

* Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, and observability

REQUIREMENTS:

* Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures

* Experience building scalable APIs using Lambda, ECS, and/or EKS

* Hands-on experience building MCP Servers

* Experience delivering end-to-end solutions with AWS Bedrock Agent Core

* Experience integrating AWS Connect with backend systems and workflows

* Infrastructure as Code: AWS Cloud Formation and AWS CDK

* CI/CD:
Git Hub Actions

* Experience with spec-driven development, including use of AI-powered tools such as Windsurf and Spec It

* Experience working in complex, multi-team enterprise environments

* Strong collaboration and cross-team communication skills

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment

* Strong problem-solving skills and end-to-end ownership mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience integrating AWS Connect with Bedrock Agent Core agentic workflows

* Experience with AWS Novasonic, especially when connected to AWS Connect

* Experience with AI/LLM-based platforms, agent orchestration, and observability

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
