Position Overview
As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials within the warehouse and loading or unloading items onto or from vehicles using equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, or other heavy material handling machinery as needed.
WorkSchedule and Compensation
The position operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a weekly pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
Duties & Responsibilities- Utilize Material Handling Equipment to efficiently load and unload designated trailers
- Relocate products as necessary to support engineers and general contractors
- Confirm and record the receipt of materials into inventory
- May also include palletizing and shrink wrap
- Be able to lift heavy materials and stand, bend, and lift for prolonged periods
- Adhere to Kuehne + Nagel’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program policies and procedures
- Perform other job duties as needed
- High School Education or Equivalent
- 1 year forklift experience required
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be a U.S. citizen
